Emma Forbes – Brand Ambassador, Wild Organics - Biography
Emma Forbes is one of the nation’s best loved broadcasters and personalities. From her crazy antics on Live & Kicking and her years on Going Live, she seared herself onto the national consciousness with good humour and a game-for-a-laugh approach that belied her gorgeous, Grace Kelly looks - making a generation of boys fall in love and a swathe of girls wish she was their big sister. Now, Emma is delighted to have been chosen as Brand Ambassador for luxury, green bath and body collection, Wild Organics.
For many years, Emma has been interested in green products and organic foods. ‘When we were growing up there were no labels like ‘organic’, but my mother (actress Nanette Newman) would always cook using healthy food and alternative and natural medicines. She would sprout her own beans and baked her own whole meal bread – so I think I have really taken after her! I try to buy green and eco where possible – and recently became worried about the amount of chemicals I was applying to my own and my family’s skin every day . . . yet I am a girl who loves to pamper! Today, mother of two Emma is no less gorgeous and just as full of fun and adventure. As well as her work with Wild Organics and being mother to daughter Lily, 13 and Sam, 10, Emma presents a regular Saturday programme on Radio 2 with Alan Carr.
Emma is the daughter of Bryan Forbes - famed as a film director (Stepford Wives), producer (The Railway Children) and screenwriter (Chaplin) and actress Nanette Newman (Stepford Wives) and sister of writer, Sarah Standing.
